Golfing in Finland has become more popular with the arrival of Puula Golf in Kangasniemi - the driving range was opened this summer and from 2006 one can enjoy playing on the golf course which has a mixture of forest and lake views with an height variation of about 30 metres. The forested area surrounding the fairways will be thinned creating a pleasant and safe environment to enjoy golf. Golf spelen in Finland is uitgebreid met Puula Golf in Kangasniemi. Het heuvelachtige landschap bestaat uit bossen met uitzichten over het Finse merengebied. Het golfterrein heeft een hoogteverschil van dertig meter. Rakentaminen aloitettiin 20.9.2004. Varsinaiseen rakentamiseen kuluu aikaa noin kaksi vuotta. Kenttä rakennetaan kahdessa vaiheessa. Ensimmäinen vaihe sisältää harjoitusalueet ja väylät 1-9. Kenttäyhtiön erillisellä päätöksellä kentän osakekantaa toisessa vaiheessa laajennetaan ja kentän väylät 10-18 rakennetaan. Kenttäkartassa esiintyvä layout on väylien tarkan maastoon sijoittumisen osalta suuntaa antava.
