The kota is a comfortable large teepee in which to rest after an adventurous day hiking on snowshoes in winter, or a canoeing adventure in the other three seasons.
In winter the canoes are exchanged for snowshoes and cross country ski's.
During these winter adventures it possible to sleep in this kota. A warm sleeping bag will, of course, be indispensable.
