Penttilä at the end of its
glory days
We found this old color photograph in the main house
when we moved in in 2003. It was probably taken in the sixties, the
period that it had changed ownership to the son of the founders, who
became the local doctor. The field were planted with mainly fir trees
and birch trees to the south east of the house.
This field was used for growing berries and partly as
an orchard.
